Insert ads into my channels Storeplay Radio can play ads between tracks at no extra cost. Web browser only.

  1. Log in and go to your dashboard.
  2. Open the Advertising tab and select New Advertisement.
  3. Create the ad one of two ways:
  • Upload an MP3, or

  1. Set how often it plays (for example, every 5 songs, roughly once every 20 minutes).

You can also schedule an ad to a date and time range. With no schedule, it plays indefinitely.

Play wirelessly from my iOS device Storeplay Radio connects to AirPlay and Bluetooth receivers. When you’re logged in and a song is playing, the AirPlay and Bluetooth icons sit in the bottom right corner.

Web browser only.

Use Sonos speakers Under RetailOS, Storeplay Radio supports three Sonos setups:

  • Option 1: Sonos Era 100 + Sonos Line-In Adapter (recommended for Storeplayer devices) - connects directly to the Storeplayer and feeds audio into your existing Sonos system.
  • Option 2: Sonos Roam or Sonos Era 100 (recommended for Storeplay Android app users) - connects via Bluetooth to your mobile app and bridges into your wider Sonos network.
  • Option 3: Storeplay iOS app (cast to Sonos) - cast directly from your iOS device to your existing Sonos system.

Your existing Sonos speakers stay in place - only the connection method changes. Older cloud-based Sonos streaming setups aren’t supported under RetailOS and need a hardware upgrade by 30 August. For the full detail, see the RetailOS and Sonos Speaker Compatibility guide.
